Description
Anime has always been an inspiration for my art. Its queer fantasy world helped me break through the conservative norms of my society. The nature and world of anime are very similar. They are queer and magical. So the idea of this series started when I started making ceramics. Something about touching mud/earth and kneading little sculptures, vases, and artistic tableware helped me bring the magic of nature into my everyday normative life. The Fairies and Faes Ceramics Collection exhibits the weirdness, lightness, and darkness of nature.
